Main Street Mission:

To promote historic preservation, champion downtown & hometown vitality, and build community partnerships; always applying sustainable practices in the commercial district.
 

Info about the four Main Street Committees:

Design Committee:

Focus: Enhancing historic preservation, improving streetscapes, guiding signage, and fostering cultural interpretation while supporting challenge grants to maintain the district’s architectural heritage.

Committee Chair: Chuck Warner

Organization Committee:

Focus: Strengthening community partnerships through fundraising efforts, volunteer recognition, and clear, effective communication to sustain Main Street’s mission.

Committee Chair: Kathy Waite

Promotions Committee:

Focus: Championing downtown vitality by coordinating retail promotions, fostering cooperative and cross-marketing initiatives, and organizing engaging community events that bring people together.

Committee Chair: Dollie Bothwell

Business Vitality Committee:

Focus: Driving sustainable economic growth by conducting market analysis, recruiting new businesses, and fostering a supportive environment where local businesses can thrive.
